How the medical practice acquisition process works

• WellMed would acquire an existing Primary Care Practice
• Practices are mainly primary care providing senior-focused healthcare and accept Medicare Advantage health plans and Medicare fee for service patients (commercial and group insurances are reviewed)
• Physician(s) become a WellMed physician
• A team approach to integration and implementation of the practice into the WellMed culture

Quality performance metric standards

Whether you are a WellMed employed physician or contracted physician, you can earn additional compensation for quantifiable results based on patient quality metrics. Each metric is assigned a weight, target percentage, and a point value and is measured against a benchmark. Quality metrics are measured and reported throughout the year and re-evaluated annually.
